International legal practice Osborne Clarke has acted as exclusive legal advisers to Goodstuff Communications on its acquisition by the Stagwell Group.
The project team was led by Associate Director Jonathan Crowley and Partner Tim Birt, both of whom are members of Osborne Clarke's specialist marketing communications and digital services transactions group.
Jonathan Crowley said: "We were delighted that Goodstuff Communications chose to appoint Osborne Clarke on a transaction of such significance to their business and at a time of great change and innovation in the media communications sector. Ben and Andrew as founders, supported by the group's CFO, Megan Stuart, had a very clear point of view of what they wanted to achieve and the values that they wanted that success to be based upon and we were pleased that we were able to help them in making that a reality and to deliver this complex project within the required time frames."
Ben Hayes and Andrew Stephens (Co-Founders of Goodstuff Communications) said:
"Osborne Clarke came highly recommended and while we were generally aware of their unparalleled credentials in supporting clients in similar situations, their relevant expertise and experience was made real to us on an almost daily basis through their ability to anticipate and help resolve issues and to guide us through the many complexities that a transaction of this sort inevitably involves. We felt they were with us at all stages as trusted advisers and that was incredibly re-assuring."
Osborne Clarke advises some of the best and brightest businesses across the digital marketing services sector. It is widely recognised for its corporate expertise in this dynamic market, and for its track record advising on M&A and Private Equity deals across Europe.
